Check out the above brief video I did after I completed the training, “8 Figure Branding and Ad Copy” inside the Internet Lifestyle Network (ILN) University.
Branding and Ad Copy ~ How to Effectively Make it Come Together
When it
comes to building an affiliate or networking business online there are two major components you want to work on mastering in order for people to WANT to take notice in what you're doing.
1. Branding
2. Ad Copy
Branding is sort of any easy one. For one, I think most people will choose a product to build their business based on if they can relate to it, feel comfortable promoting it and believe will provide a solution for others.
1. Branding
2. Ad Copy
Branding is sort of any easy one. For one, I think most people will choose a product to build their business based on if they can relate to it, feel comfortable promoting it and believe will provide a solution for others.
Most of the time people feel comfortable with what they choose because of the shear excitement they have sharing what they know about it. This naturally stems from a whole-hearted belief in the product and what it provides or solves (problems).
After choosing a specific product you want to be sure and "share" it the right way. Not by spamming links and forcing your product down people's throats. You'll want to find a main stream online advertising platform to expose your product and focus on that one avenue until you’re comfortable with what you produce.
Many successful online marketers find one they really love and master it, such as: video, blogging, referral marketing from others, local or online advertising, even email marketing. Once you've perfected it, you can stick with it if it produces the results you're looking for or, you can move on to another after you’ve started seeing a substantial amount of action from one.
The second
part of branding is keying into the exact reason you chose the income source
that you did. Centering in on what were you going
through at that particular moment that drove you to say, “This is what is going
to change my life… and I really need it!” will help others that can really relate to your pain and need and then help them to understand how what you did solved your problems.
Most people
are looking to change their current situation and when it comes to branding
yourself, you want to key in on that particular (moving) aspect of your life
that you want to change more than anything.
Now, make a story out of it. Use
descriptive words and get emotional.
Explain your reasons in a way that others can really relate and that moves them like the best novel they ever read.
Now, take
your branding and your story and create ad copy that touches people’s heart
with what you’ve written. This one is a
little bit tougher, and I don’t mean it’s difficult, but it’s one that people
struggle with more, because it seems easier and we create a natural tendency to start
create something more like a quick commercial that WE THINK will get people’s
attention much quicker. But with so much quick fix and get rich stuff portrayed online and t.v. anymore, many people have become numb to it.
It may seem easier to “Commercialize” products, innocently hype them up, and make them sound
good. We are all guilty of it and it’s
probably more out of shear excitement, but in the end it's a waste of time.
So avoid these:
“Make lots of money with us.”
“We have the greatest (pick
one): product, reputation, growth history, comp plan…”
“Create passive, life-time,
income.”
“Get in on this wham bam deal
and live like Donald Trump.”
“Our product will solve every
problem under the sun.”
““Get in with us and make money
while you sleep.”
“Work a little, make a lot.”
“Never work again.”
“This is the greatest thing
since sliced toast.”
… you get
the idea.
No harm done,
really. Everyone wants to get other
people’s attention, somehow. But, when
it comes to solving problems, there is deeper level you have to be willing to
venture in to.
Instead, relate to the real problems that real people are
experiencing.
Things they
really do relate to. Most people can’t
really relate to getting rich and creating wealth. They can, relate to paying off debts and
getting rid of a car payment or a house payment every month. They can relate, and want to relate, more
with family and spending time with their kids.
That. Is where you have to go.
That. Is where you have to go.
So when it
comes to Branding, identify with how your product relates to your life and/or
problem and how it provided a solution. Then, when
creating ad copy, write emails ads and social statuses that people can really
relate to in relation to your particular problem and solution. Touch the heart, go deep and
use some emotion.
